Background

The war of Russia against Ukraine has questioned the rule of law, and the agreements were made on the continent after World War II. The invasion is still ongoing, and there are plenty of questions that could be and should be researched once the war is over:

• Cybersecurity during emergency crises and war;
• The effect of constant threats and sirens on the mental health of adults and children in Ukraine;
• Media: The role of mass media and new media in propaganda;
• Modern War Studies: Battles in cities of the 21st century;
• Decolonization of the history of Ukraine;
• Is culture a co-creator of war
• Does Russian liberalism exist?
• Imperialism. How does the British differ from the Russian?

The Fund of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science and Sports is initiating a Marathon of World Academic Talks to begin the discussion of Ukraine in academia.

About the project

World Academic Talks is an initiative that aims to discuss Ukraine from various academic perspectives in partnership with Ukrainian Universities.

We aim to:

• foster discussion of Ukraine with Ukrainian and international researchers;
• create links between Ukrainian and International universities;
• engage Ukrainian and foreign students to collaborate and discuss the current state of the World;
